Sure it starts pretty fast and feels alright but IE6 and IE7 did that as well. Also, I can't remember getting a freeze or - god forbid - a blue screen while surfing the web with any Internet Explorer version so far. Sounds more like an issue on your end. I can open more than 20 windows simultaneously without crashing. IE7 and IE6 is unstable that if you open more than windows at a time it just freezes or causes the blue screen.
